State Fair

My friend Dana and I took our kiddos to the fair a few weeks ago. We had such a great time!! Even if I didn't ride the ferris wheel. I am so scared of heights....I wish I wasn't. I tried, I got in line and waited with everyone. I was trying to convince myself I could do it. When we got up to the front of the line I was starting to freak out a little. I think Dana was afraid I was going to scare the children, so she told me to just walk through the cage and wait for them on the other side. I was kinda scared to let Emma go without me. I thought " what if the cage goes flying down and they all die...then how will I live without Emma?" Morbid.....but you know it crosses your mind. Anyway, needless to say everything was fine......and now Emma tells everyone how she rode the ferris wheel and Mommy didn't because she was too scared. Turkey!!! Emma's favorite ride was the big slide. You know, the one you have to carry your canvas mat thing all the way up with you?? She LOVED it.....she rode is 5 times!!! We had lots of fun. I even got a Henna Tatoo. I wish I had taken a picture of it before it faded away. It was pretty. Here are a few fun pictures from our day.

I didn't know you were afraid of heights. I guess I am just going to have to do something about that(just kidding). I had a terrible fear of heights until I went into the military, but I still feel queasy when I am up high on something or see someone else up on something. So, I understand your pain!
